Custom & Prefabricated LSO
Lumbar Sacral Orthoses (LSOs) are used to help support someone who has had a surgery. They can also people who have a serious injury that is present. An LSO is an orthosis (a medical grade brace) that is used to help reduce pain by helping to restrict mobility of the lumbar and sacral spine. This brace will also help support someone who had weak spinal muscles. An LSO can help provide symmetry and increase activities of daily living due to the support it can provide as well.
There are custom and prefabricated types that can help people. Typically, these supports are helpful, but are considered to be temporary forms of treatment.
If you would like to learn more, you can check out our blog on LSOs. You can also check out our pricing guide to help you get a feel for the costs involved with using these types of supports. It is always best to take medical advice from the orthotist you are working with when it comes to LSOs. However, the free medical information we provide can help give you some great ideas to think about if we don’t treat you on a company level.
